Job Title: Automotive Sales DirectorJob Summary:

The Automotive Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve dealership or company sales targets. This role demands strategic planning, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the automotive market to drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to optimize performance and professional growth.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and service departments to support sales activities.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in automotive sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, products, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
