1st Shift Prepress Operator

Review and preflight customer files for print readiness.

Assemble, edit, and optimize files for production.

Perform color correction and color matching to meet print specifications.

Generate PDF proofs, contract proofs, imposed proofs, and mock-ups.

Create and output printing plates for production runs.

Maintain G7 color management standards and quality requirements.

Prepare die files and coordinate with finishing departments.

Troubleshoot file, artwork, and workflow issues.

Communicate with customers regarding file requirements and best practices.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure jobs are completed accurately and efficiently.

Stay current on printing technologies, software, and workflow improvements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of prepress experience in a printing environment.

Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat).

Experience with preflighting, file preparation, imposition, proofing, and plate making.

Knowledge of color management and color correction techniques.

Experience with Fuji and/or Metrix workflow systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to lift 30+ pounds.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN.

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $79040.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Plymouth, MN.
