Office Manager

A family owned and operated agricultural supply store is seeking an Office Manager to join their team. The Office Manager will be responsible for the day to day activities of the office, act as the main point of contact for customers and support HR, accounting, and logistics functions. Salary: $70,000-$90,000 (DOE) + bonus Location: Houston, TX Type of Position: temp to hire Responsibilities: Oversee daily office activities and ensure efficient workflow Serve as the primary point of contact for the office Implement and enforce office policies and procedures Learn the company's products, services, and pricing to assist customers directly Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs Support HR functions, including employee onboarding Process invoices and sales tickets; prepare internal financial reports Learn the company's logistics/delivery software (company also operates a trucking/delivery arm) Potential future collaboration with an IT director as the company grows Requirements: 3-5 years of previous office management/office admin experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Communications, HR, or a related field preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop) and MS Office (Word, Excel) Willingness to learn a proprietary logistics/delivery programWorking knowledge of accounting and sales tax Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Problem-solving ability and adaptability to change Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills HR knowledge/experience Must have flexible availability depending on seasonal needs #J-18808-Ljbffr Murray Resources - Best Staffing Agency
