Commercial Route Manager

Position Summary Route Manager (Commercial Pest Control Technician) – responsible for managing a dedicated route of commercial clients, delivering pest control and inspection services, maintaining client relationships, and supporting business growth. Responsibilities Manage a dedicated route of commercial clients, ensuring timely and professional service. Respond quickly to service requests, complaints, and urgent needs. Provide proactive guidance and recommendations to customers. Identify opportunities to grow accounts and generate qualified leads. Maintain a clean, safe, and fully stocked company vehicle and comply with DOT and company standards. Set up, monitor, and dismantle equipment for new installations and specialized treatments. Engage in regular training to earn and maintain certifications and stay updated on pest‑control methods. Partner with clients and technical specialists to create action plans. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years in route sales, facilities management, janitorial service, landscaping, environmental services, or related customer‑service roles. Strong communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including urgent and unscheduled services. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology. Pass background screening including identity, criminal history, and motor‑vehicle record checks. Meet DOT physical standards, including a 5‑panel drug screen. Preferred Qualifications Previous pest‑control experience. Pest control, industrial, or safety certifications. Experience in pest control, landscaping, agriculture, or food production. Compensation & Benefits Salary $21-26 per hour (depending on experience) plus performance bonuses and sales commissions. Take‑home service vehicle with gas card. Company‑provided phone, uniforms, and safety equipment. On‑the‑job training and licensing. Health, vision, and dental insurance beginning 30 days after hire. 401(k) after one year with 100% match to 3% plus 50% match up to 6%.
