Emergency Department Case Manager RN

We are seeking an Emergency Department Case Manager RN for a day shift. This position is a 5x8 schedule with shifts occurring every other weekend. The role involves case management and utilization review. Responsibilities include adherence to admission criteria, care coordination, and discharge planning. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including CMS guidelines, is essential. The candidate must have a minimum of one year of experience in an Emergency Department. Experience with a documentation system such as Cerner is preferred but not required. Additional qualifications include previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, and multidisciplinary support collaboration. Candidates will be expected to provide care coordination and facilitate clear communication among healthcare teams.
