Outpatient Internal Medicine locums in Rhode Island with a set weekday schedule and no call, seeing a primarily Medicare, age 65+ patient panel. Highlights No call required. Monday through Friday schedule, full time outpatient clinic coverage. Manageable daily volume, 16 to 18 patients per day. Fast credentialing, target start about 30 days from acceptance. Practice Setting Outpatient clinic setting providing traditional primary care for an older population. Patient mix includes diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, mild cognitive impairment, CHF, and coronary artery disease history. Support includes nurse practitioners, MA and scribe support, plus clinic RNs. Average volume is 16 to 18 patients per day. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Full time coverage required. No call. Initial assignment is 3 months, strongly prefer 6 months. Requirements Must be an MD or DO. Rhode Island license required, will not wait for license. Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. DEA required.
