Staff Accountant

CooperDouglas has partnered with a leading, fast-growing manufacturing company in the Inland Empire to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious accountant who wants to grow with a company that is scaling quickly through acquisitions, with real exposure to a multi-entity environment and a team that rewards initiative.

What you'll do

Support the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and prepaids
Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
Support inventory and cost accounting activity for a manufacturing operation
Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation
Support AP and AR as needed, including reviewing coding and resolving discrepancies
Help with intercompany activity and reporting back to the parent company
Prepare schedules and support for the annual audit
Look for ways to improve and standardize processes as the company grows

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Big 4 public accounting or manufacturing industry experience
Solid understanding of GAAP, accruals, and account reconciliations
Strong Excel skills
Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to grow your career with the company
Detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
