Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) located in the area is seeking experienced registered nurses for night shifts. This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac, thoracic, and transplant-related conditions, including those requiring advanced medical devices and procedures. The position offers dynamic and technically sophisticated patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in an intensive care or cardiovascular ICU setting, ACLS and BLS certifications, experience with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Arterial line management, Ventilator Management, and Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NextStage CVVH machine, CVCT ICU or similar cardiac surgical units, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, WI or compact RN license
• Travel Experience Required: Yes
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must pass a telemetry interpretation test prior to start, with two attempts allowed.
  • Traveler must have two years of recent acute care experience within the last three years.
  • Must be able to manage complex cardiac and thoracic procedures, including care of patients with LVAD, Impella, ECMO, and IABP devices.
  • Float rotation may be required; local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted.
  • Assignment runs from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027.
  • Proper parking permit is required if applicable.
