Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, product inquiries, pricing, and order status updates.
- Process high-volume customer orders accurately and efficiently within the ERP system.
- Enter and manage purchase orders, sales orders, quotes, and related documentation.
- Coordinate order fulfillment and shipping activities to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order confirmations, shipment updates, backorders, and potential delivery issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Operations, Production, and Shipping to resolve customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records and order information within the ERP system.
- Review and verify order details, pricing, and shipping requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process efficiencies and opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
Required
- 2+ years of customer service and order processing experience.
- Hands-on experience working with an ERP system.
- Experience with high-volume order entry and order management.
- Strong understanding of purchase orders, quotes, invoicing, and shipping coordination.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain, inventory, and shipping processes.
