Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused and organized Express Service Advisor to join our team. As the main point of contact for our repair shop, you will bridge the gap between our customers and our technicians, ensuring a seamless and transparent service experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer contact, greeting clients and accurately determining their vehicle's needs.

• Accurately write and initiate job tickets / Repair Orders (ROs) in the dealership management system.

• Prepare transparent price quotes and effectively up-sell recommended maintenance based on technician multi-point inspections.

• Ensure explicit customer authorization is obtained before any work begins.

• Deal directly with the factory to process warranty and claim services, maintaining clear communication with the manufacturer.

• Manage the entire transaction from drop-off to pick-up by monitoring workflow and keeping customers updated on their vehicle's repair status.

• Review the final invoice with the customer, close out the bill, and process payments.

• Provide management support by carrying out daily service manager initiatives and tasks.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.

• Basic automotive knowledge and the ability to explain technical repairs to non-technical customers.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously.

• Comfortable handling financial transactions and working on a computer/dealership management system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Writer in an automotive dealership.

• Experience with Toyota vehicles and manufacturer warranty processes.

• Proficiency using Tekion or similar Dealership Management Systems (DMS).

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
