Job Description Anticipated Vacancy 2026-2027 Position Title Desktop Support Specialist (Job Description) Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical training in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience. CompTIA A+ certification preferred. Additional entry-level IT certifications may be considered. Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with students, staff, administrators, and other members of the technology team. Strong customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical information to users with varying levels of technical knowledge. Excellent work ethic with the ability to multi-task, prioritize requests, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced school environment. Must possess a valid driver's license.
