As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Screening in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including entrances, common areas, tenant spaces, and the exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly shopping environment by providing directions, answering questions, and documenting incidents as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
