Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Protocols in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen individuals, packages, shipments, vehicles, and/or belongings in accordance with established screening procedures and site requirements. Monitor access points, credentialing activities, and screening equipment; report irregularities, prohibited items, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least six months of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
