OB Tech - Labor & Delivery - Days

Hourly Pay Range $24.86 - $37.29. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Overview Position: OB Technician. Location: Naperville, IL. Full-Time Hours: 7am to 7pm, days only, rotating weekends and rotating holidays as needed. Required Travel: No. Responsibilities Under general supervision of a Registered Nurse and according to established procedures, performs multiple patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for care, comfort and safety of patients. Assists surgical team preparing for, during and after surgery. Prepares operating room for surgery. Acts as scrub person during surgery by performing a combination of tasks as directed by the surgical team. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Certificate from an accredited nursing assistant training course (CNA) or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation. Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association. Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions. Requires attendance of in‑depth orientation regarding patient care skill tasks. Successful completion of the OB Technician’s Scrub Class, offered by the OB department. Prior OR experience preferred.
