As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrols in Bellevue, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $26.05 / Hour Job Schedule Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols. Support a professional environment by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with directions, questions, and/or security‑related concerns while following post orders and location procedures. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required. CPR certification is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
