Forklift Safety Officer
Local food manufacturer in Fresno is now hiring for a Forklift Safety Officer!
Pay Rate: $20-25 depending on experience
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Over time may be required.
Duties may include but not limited to the following:
- Conduct daily and weekly forklift safety inspections
- Ensure forklift operators complete pre- and post-operation checklists
- Monitor forklift operations and address unsafe behaviors
- Support and/or lead forklift safety training
- Maintain safety records, inspection logs, and operator certifications
- Assist with forklift-related incident and near-miss investigations
- Coordinate with maintenance for forklift repairs and servicing
- Promote a strong safety culture on the production floor
Requirements:
- 12 years of forklift experience
- General occupational safety experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and hazard awareness
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and forklift safety standards
