Job description
Shift Position: 1st Shift, air-conditioned facility! Flexible hours and training provided.
Bindery or printing experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate rewind/bindery machines according to work order
- Follow quality control procedures, check work for accuracy, and report/resolve issues with staff
- Lift and load paper rolls onto machines; remove finished rolls from machines and carts
- Operate pallet jacks to transport paper as needed
- Meet schedules and deadlines while maintaining quality work, including occasional weekend overtime
Requirements:
- Bindery or printing experience, including machine operating experience
- Able to troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to machine setup
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Works well in a team, communicates clearly, and maintains excellent attendance
