We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Underwriter with a strong background in SBA 7(a) lending to join a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite SBA 7(a) loan requests in accordance with SBA guidelines and internal credit policies
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral to assess credit risk
• Manage a high volume of loan files while maintaining accuracy and turnaround expectations
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to move deals through the pipeline efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all SBA lending requirements

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of SBA underwriting experience
• Strong focus on 7(a) loans
• Experience working in a high-volume underwriting environment (highly preferred)
• Familiarity with Spark is a strong plus (experience with nCino or similar platforms is transferable)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
