Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a  Physician Assistant - Pulmonary   to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers.  Today, Lincoln stands as a leader in the transformation in healthcare in the Downtown Bronx community.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

·  Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule
·  Evaluate and manage patients, with a predominant focus on asthma
·  Develop individualized home care plans and coordinate necessary services
·  Order and arrange durable medical equipment (DME) as appropriate
·  Obtain and coordinate prior authorizations for medications, equipment, and services
·  Order and review laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
·  Evaluate patient needs and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
·  Present patient cases and clinical recommendations to attending physicians
·  Collaborate with attending physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient management

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA
• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week. 

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
