Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. Provides competent clinical nursing care in a healthcare setting while coordinating and delivering patient care through the nursing process. The role includes patient assessment, education, care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, and care for patients with complex needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina; Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC); at least two years of medical-surgical and telemetry experience; Epic experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Additional Information: Provides patient-centered nursing care, performs patient assessments and point-of-care testing, develops and updates individualized care plans, supports patient and family education, anticipates discharge needs, prioritizes care for complex patient populations, communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care, and participates in quality improvement activities.
