Monday - Friday - 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains orderly arrangement of product to facilitate receiving, stocking, shipping, and pickup of merchandise.
• Maintains physical and system controls to safeguard inventory and assets.
• Planning manpower to assure coverage for absences or special needs.
• Arranges for timely receipt of product and coordination with inventory control to update availability.
• Prepares receiving and shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, receiving reports, etc.) as necessary to document product flow.
• Ensures the consistent use of safety devices and personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintains constant alert for hazardous conditions and practices.
• Participates in and facilitates 6S activities in responsible areas; drives safety ideas and improvements.
• Coordinates programs related to employee communications, placement, training and development, orientation, quality, etc.
• Promotes positive employee relations through daily, open, and direct communications.
• Ensures conformance with Company policies, practices and work rules related to attendance, performance, etc.
• Operating within budget parameters and identifying opportunities for savings.
• Providing and/or coordinating a preventative maintenance program for forklifts, dock doors, dock plates and other equipment and components of the facility.
• Various other duties as required.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or better.

Experience: Previous manufacturing and high-end consumer products experience. Proficient in Lean Manufacturing concepts, quality measurements and OSHA requirements. Strong initiative and execution to drive results and promote good a work culture. Problem solving and conflict management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and strong oral and written communications skills
