Warehouse Supervisor (Night Shift)

This role is responsible for overseeing all operations within the warehouse department. Key responsibilities include managing the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. The role also oversees the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, maintaining a work environment that meets all sanitary and operational requirements.

In addition, this position is accountable for the accurate and timely completion of all required documentation, ensuring that records are clear, thorough, and compliant with company standards. The individual in this role is expected to consistently maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area while supporting overall warehouse efficiency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include operator supervision, accurate receipt confirmations from suppliers, accurate data entry of receipts, accurate shipping documentation of outgoing material to customers, and organized filing of manifests and BOL's. The role also involves securing transportation for finished goods outbound to the customer, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring warehouse equipment maintenance, and maintaining inventory of supplies.

Skills/qualifications required include a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience, 5 years' experience performing in a leadership function, ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, proficiency in English, and ability to create and adopt new processes and procedures in a growth environment.

Working conditions and physical requirements include 12 hours sitting/standing/walking, ability to lift up to 60 lbs., reaching/bending requirements frequently, and facility is air conditioned and cooler is 35F degrees.

Food safety requirements involve notifying supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety, understanding, observing, and complying with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy, performing all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards, initiating action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system, identifying and recording any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system, and controlling further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

Base pay range: $70,000 - $80,000 USD
