Adjunct instructors are part-time temporary employees used to fill classroom vacancies. Part-time faculty may be needed to teach for selected day, evening, weekend, and on-line classes at any of our campus locations. Part-time instructors are paid $515.00 per college credit hour. The following disciplines are being recruited: Accounting Art Communications English/Written Communication History Mathematics Biology Psychology Job Duties Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials. Provides instruction to students in the subject area. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment, attendance/activity and progress. Utilizes approved online course template and syllabus format. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline. Credential must be granted from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Preferred Qualifications Experience with online teaching is preferred. Teaching and Blackboard experience preferred.
