Senior Mechanical Engineer, Space Systems & Mechanisms

Redwire Space in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to lead design of spacecraft mechanisms and deployable structures.
You will develop 3D mechanism designs in SolidWorks, specify materials, perform preliminary analyses, and produce manufacturing drawings with GD&T for space hardware. The role focuses on state-of-the-art structures for satellites, launch vehicles, and defense applications, with cross-functional teamwork, schedule management, and QA aligned to AS9100 standards.
