Part-Time Cook – Weekend Shift Location: Asheville, NC Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Make a difference where it matters most. Join the team at Methodist Home for Children’s Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center in Asheville, NC. We provide a safe, stable environment for youth ages 10–17, helping guide them toward brighter futures. We're currently hiring a Part‑Time Cook to support this mission. What You’ll Do: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for youth and staff Plan menus that meet USDA and NC Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment Order and track food supplies Support cultural diversity in meal planning What You Bring: At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of experience in food preparation (especially for large groups) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Willingness to complete required training (CPR, First Aid, etc.) Why Join Us?
