Medical Assistant Talent Pool (Future Opportunities)

Locations: Littleton, Denver, Lone Tree, and Lafayette, CO

IVI RMA North America is building a talent pool for future Medical Assistant opportunities across our Colorado locations. If you are passionate about patient care and interested in growing your career in women's health and reproductive medicine, we encourage you to apply.

As a Medical Assistant, you'll support physicians and patients in a collaborative fertility clinic environment while gaining valuable clinical experience in a specialized field. Qualified candidates will be considered for future openings as they become available.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities: 

• Prepare exam and procedure rooms
• Support patients during clinical visits and procedures
• Perform specimen collection and processing
• Assist Physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
• Maintain supplies and ensure rooms and equipment are clean and fully stocked
• Practice phlebotomy
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

  Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Phlebotomy Program – preferred
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Requirements: 

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in physician practice
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year Phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn preferred
• Prior experience in Fertility, OBGYN, or Women’s healthcare – preferred
• Experience supporting clinical procedures is a plus
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience - preferred
