Operations Manager Fremont, CA, US 10 days ago Requisition ID: 1388 Position Overview The Operations Manage r is responsible for leading field-based technical teams and optimizing the people, processes, and day-to-day operations that drive successful service delivery. This role partners closely with branch leadership to improve operational efficiency, support revenue growth, and ensure high-quality execution across systems integration and managed services. As a key member of the branch management team, the Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight of technical operations, with a strong focus on team performance, resource management, process improvement, and operational execution. This role builds and develops high-performing teams through effective coaching, accountability, mentorship, and professional development. Skills & Core Strengths Operational leadership and team management Process improvement and operational efficiency Technical services and systems integration oversight Strategic thinking and decision‑making Performance management and employee development Cross‑functional collaboration Resource planning and workforce management Financial and operational performance tracking Problem‑solving and solution development Compliance, safety, and risk management Professional communication and presentation skills What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day operations of the technical services team, including systems integration and managed services Partner with branch leadership to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals Drive operational efficiency to support sales growth and profitability Oversee hiring, onboarding, and development of technical team members Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities Monitor and report on operational performance, including productivity, utilization, and service delivery outcomes Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve processes and results Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support project execution and client satisfaction Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements Support recruitment efforts and build a strong pipeline of technical talent Maintain team engagement by fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 4+ years of experience managing and mentoring technical delivery, service, or support teams Experience leading teams within AV, IT, systems integration, or related technical environments Proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high‑performing, diverse teams Strong business acumen with the ability to drive operational and financial performance Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and think strategically Proficiency with business applications and multiple operating systems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Willingness to travel occasionally as needed Preferred Qualifications AVIXA CTS certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire) Experience in audiovisual (AV) integration or related industry Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements Experience supporting both systems integration and managed services teams About Us Avidex is a leading player in the audiovisual and IT integration industry, delivering cutting‑edge solutions to a diverse range of clients.
