As an Access Control Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain visitor records, and provide professional customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the distribution center by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and following established access-control procedures. Observe inbound and outbound traffic at entry points, report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities and completing required reports. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
