Administrative Division – Office of Financial Affairs POSITION: RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Non-exempt/full-time) Summary: Under the direction of the Controller in the Finance Division, the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant may support accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and other related accounting and financial areas. Duties may include but are not limited to: answer phones, assist accounting staff with mail distribution, occasional file retrieval, clerical duties, plan events, interact with security and maintenance personnel, perform bank reconciliations, order supplies, etc. Commute locally for delivery of checks, inter department mail, and other payables. Qualifications: Minimum of two years of responsible experience in a non‑profit. Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. A valid California Driver License with acceptable insurance. Sage software knowledge is a plus. Compensation: $18 – $20 hourly Enterprise Division – Green Initiatives POSITION: MAINTENANCE LEADMAN (Non-exempt/full-time) Summary: Under the direction of Property Management Director, plan and supervise daily maintenance operations in a portfolio of approximately 300 units. Work with an assigned crew and determine required work from inspections. Supervise and evaluate work of maintenance staff. Work directly with the Property Maintenance Specialist. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years skilled or semi‑skilled construction/property maintenance. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. HUD REAC experience for subsidized low‑income housing. Must possess a California Driver’s License with a clean driving record and vehicle insurance. Compensation: $18 – $20 /hr Senior Services Division – Nutrition Driver (Non-exempt/full-time) Summary: Under the supervision of the Food Coordinator, deliver meals to home‑bound elderly and/or disabled participants and congregate meal sites. Operate a vehicle with hot and cold units, prepare and unload food, complete records of time, mileage, and other data requested by the supervisor. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of work vehicles, record and submit donations, and distribute any notices or information required. Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience. Valid Class C California Driver’s License and acceptable driving record. Drug testing required. Familiarity with preventative vehicle maintenance. Food Handlers permit and able to lift 50 lbs or more. Compensation: $17.00 – $18.00 /hr Greater Watts Transportation Repair – Junior Mechanic (Non-exempt/full-time) Summary: Under the supervision of the Fleet Manager and Senior Mechanic, assist with automotive maintenance and repair. Help diagnose and fix issues, maintain shop cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and assist with repair of small engines (leaf blowers, chainsaws, lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.). Qualifications: At least 5 years professional experience with gasoline fueled cars, vans, and trucks. Experience with tune ups, brakes, carburetors, cooling systems, minor electrical repair. Basic mechanic tools and knowledge of diesel, 2 and 4 cycle small engine equipment a plus. Knowledge of classic cars a big plus. Compensation: $20 – $23/hr Greater Watts Development Corporation – Planning Assistant and Administrative Assistant (Non-exempt/full-time) Summary: Under supervision of the Vice President of Real Estate Development, perform secretarial duties; plan, organize, coordinate activities and communications. Assist in proposal preparation, project management of capital improvement, planning and zoning projects, information gathering, and support grants/contracts management. Also performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Three years related experience desirable. Computer literacy with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with staff, consultants, contractors, community members, funding entities, and affiliates. Knowledge of entitlement and permit processing desirable. Knowledge of office procedures, ability to manage concurrent tasks and follow directions must. Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or Urban Studies. Clerical skills training desirable. Valid California Driver’s License and vehicle insurance required. Compensation: $45,760 – $52,000 annual ($22.00 – $25.00 per hour) #J-18808-Ljbffr
