As the Web Development Manager, you will serve as the lead developer and architect across our entire web development function. You will lead a team of developers while remaining highly hands-on—writing code, reviewing solutions, setting architectural direction, and ensuring exceptional execution across all digital initiatives.

This role requires deep expertise in Shopify development, modern web frameworks, systems architecture, integrations, and performance/security optimization. You will partner cross-functionally across eCommerce, Marketing, Creative, Operations, and IT to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as the lead developer, architecting, coding, and reviewing solutions for web platforms (Shopify, custom applications, integrations, internal tools).
• Acting as the primary technical resource for the development team, providing mentorship, troubleshooting support, and engineering best practices.
• Owning the overall architecture of the web ecosystem, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with business goals.
• Managing, coaching, and inspiring a team of developers—setting clear expectations and ensuring excellence in development workflows.
• Establishing and enforcing best practices for:
• Version control (Git)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Testing and deployment
• Environment management
• Monitoring, uptime, and reliability
• Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to scope and deliver high-impact web solutions.
• Leading sprint planning, technical estimation/scoping, and code review processes.
• Overseeing and maintaining site performance, security, and reliability across all environments.
• Ensuring technical documentation is created and maintained (architecture, systems, integrations, workflows).
• Staying current with modern web technologies and proactively recommending improvements and innovations.
