Physician Associate Orthopedics

MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Brunswick is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join their established high-volume practice. Considered applicants would be joining a strong cohesive group of 6 Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants. The ideal candidate would thrive in a team-based atmosphere of cross-coverage and daily inpatient rounding. This integrated practice provides on-site radiology as well musculoskeletal rehabilitation services. This is a 40-hour per week position typically including 1 operating room day and 3 clinic days. This position includes call coverage of 1:6 which primarily involves low volume phone calls in the evening and weekend rounding.

The pay range for this position is $126247 to $163379 annually based on the candidates level of experience.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Active and unrestricted Maine PA-C license or the ability to obtain state licensure prior to employment.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Orthopedics and/or OR.
• Comfortability working in hand-surgery is highly desirable.
