Our client is looking for a Backend Java/JS Software Developer to work with us on their web-based online healthcare solution. Our client is looking for a Backend Java/JS Software Developer to work with us on their web-based online healthcare solution. You should have strong experience with Medical Billing/Coding to excel in this role! Core Responsibilities:
- Contribute as a senior individual engineer within a team of top engineers
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile startup team environment
- Develop and implement new functionality into the product.
- Engage in all aspects of release cycles, including requirements review, work estimation, design, implementation, testing, and review.
- Work with QA to understand and resolve defects.
- Identify gaps in requirements or designs and present options to address them.
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- Thorough knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts. Postgres Database preferred
- Spring/Boot and Hibernate experience.
- Excellent understanding of Medical Billing and Medical Coding in EMR/EHR Systems
- Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and shifting requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willing to work East Coast hours.
- Strong AWS- Kubernetes, S3, IAC
- Familiarity with microservices
- B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.
