Our client is looking for a backend Java/JS software developer to work with us on their web-based online healthcare solution. You should have strong experience with medical billing/coding to excel in this role!

Core responsibilities:

• Contribute as a senior individual engineer within a team of top engineers
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, agile startup team environment
• Develop and implement new functionality into the product
• Engage in all aspects of release cycles, including requirements review, work estimation, design, implementation, testing, and review
• Work with QA to understand and resolve defects
• Identify gaps in requirements or designs and present options to address them

Minimum job qualifications:

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Thorough knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts. Postgres database preferred
• Spring/Boot and Hibernate experience
• Excellent understanding of medical billing and medical coding in EMR/EHR systems
• Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and shifting requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willing to work East Coast hours
• Strong AWS- Kubernetes, S3, IAC
• Familiarity with microservices
• B.S. or equivalent degree in computer science or related field
