Ultrasound Clinical Sales Specialist

Job Description Summary

You will act as a clinical expert within the Ultrasound Imaging space, using a consultative sales approach to develop departmental partnerships with decision makers and collaborating closely with GE Healthcare counterparts. The Ultrasound Clinical Sales Specialist provides industry‑leading support for the development of Ultrasound Enhancing Agents in echocardiography exams, delivering in‑service education presentations and product demonstrations to customers in both large and small group settings.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create business plans for the territory, including opportunity development and competitive strategies.
• Develop and sustain a network of thought leaders within the territory, track and communicate market trends and competitor data, and lead effective counter‑strategies.
• Integrate key business drivers with internal support teams to drive meaningful change and impact in customer departments.
• Provide clinical support for the development of Ultrasound Enhancing Agents, assisting with trials, implementation, and training in echocardiography.
• Differentiates assigned product offerings throughout the sales process, effectively using approved product marketing and promotion materials to guide customers.
• Demonstrate effective sales and presentation skills in diverse settings—from one‑to‑one to large formal group sessions, both in‑person and virtually.
• Represent and assist at local, regional, or national trade shows and meetings as required.
• Work cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Preferred: ARDMS, CCI certified or globally equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the medical industry with expertise in echocardiography, including all clinical applications and performing procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in customer contact across diverse situations.
• Must reside within the territory (Southern California, Arizona, or New Mexico).
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Desired Characteristics

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with Ultrasound Enhancing Agent applications.
• Ideal candidate will reside in Los Angeles, CA.
