Job Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (Local travel to commercial jobsites required) Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience (DOE) Job Description Are you a licensed Journeyman Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and jobsite safety? Flex Tech is seeking Journeyman Electricians for commercial new construction and retrofit projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex . Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings Perform conduit bending and installation (EMT, rigid, PVC as required) Pull, terminate, and label electrical wiring Install panels, breakers, lighting systems, and electrical devices Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective repairs Ensure all work complies with NEC, local, and state codes Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious jobsite Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades onsite Required Qualifications Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License Minimum 3+ years of commercial electrical experience Strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety standards Experience working on commercial construction or retrofit projects Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as required Ability to work in tight or confined spaces and at heights Physically capable of lifting materials and climbing ladders Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation to DFW-area jobsites Ability to travel throughout the local market Must pass a drug screen and background check Strong commitment to safety and professionalism Preferred Qualifications Experience with service work and troubleshooting Experience working on large commercial or industrial projects Willingness to travel outside the DFW market (not required) Why Work With Flex Tech Competitive pay based on experience Consistent commercial electrical projects Long-term placement opportunities Advancement into lead electrician or supervisory roles Ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development Projects with reputable contractors across the DFW Metroplex About Flex Tech Headquartered in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, Flex Tech, LLC provides skilled technicians for commercial electrical and low-voltage construction and retrofit projects across Texas.
