This opportunity is well suited to an attorney who wants substantial responsibility, frequent deposition and motion practice, and direct ownership of case strategy from early litigation through resolution. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Plaintiff-side, contingency-only personal injury practice Manage a personal docket with significant litigation activity Typical caseload of approximately 20 to 40 active matters, with most in litigation Regular deposition practice, with an expected pace of about 10 depositions per month Twice-yearly performance bonus based on collected fees for matters you handle The Role Manage pre-suit and litigated personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial Evaluate liability, damages, and case value, and drive litigation strategy and next steps Draft pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive and non-dispositive motions Take and defend depositions, including party and fact witness depositions Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediations, and trial as needed Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel throughout the life of the case Location, Schedule and Compensation Location: Houston area, Texas Schedule: Full-time, on-site Compensation: Six-figure base salary, commensurate with experience Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school 3 to 5 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience in a contingency practice Demonstrated litigation skills appropriate to level, including deposition work, motion practice, and strong legal writing Ability to manage an active docket independently and maintain high standards in a fast-paced litigation environment Experience handling commercial vehicle, catastrophic injury, or other high-damages matters Training that reflects disciplined case management and clear, persuasive writing Compensation and Benefits Six-figure base salary, commensurate with experience Performance bonus paid twice per year, calculated as 10% of collected fees on cases the attorney handles #J-18808-Ljbffr We Are Legal Revolution
