Draft and argue motions and other core bankruptcy litigation filings; manage deadlines and case strategy. Conduct discovery tasks including written discovery and depositions, and support hearing and trial preparation. Communicate with clients and opposing counsel and help drive matters toward resolution. Location, schedule and compensation Location: Houston, Texas. Schedule: 100% on-site. Compensation: Highly competitive salaries dependent on experience and billable hours. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Texas. Bankruptcy experience, with a litigation-forward background strongly preferred for this role. Approximately 4 to 8 years of relevant attorney experience (the firm is open to candidates with the right background). Strong legal writing skills and the ability to manage multiple matters with minimal oversight in a fast-paced litigation environment. Preferred background Admission to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas (Houston). Demonstrated history of consistently meeting billable expectations in a performance-driven compensation model.
