Remote Volunteer User Interface Designer iLevelUP

Help iLevelUP create clear, engaging, and accessible interfaces for an educational platform serving underserved youth and young people. The volunteer User Interface Designer will turn approved user flows and requirements into consistent visual systems, responsive screens, components, and implementation-ready specifications. Responsibilities: Design approved web and mobile screens, states, components, and responsive layouts Maintain reusable color, typography, spacing, icon, form, navigation, feedback, and content patterns Meet accessibility expectations for contrast, focus, zoom, touch targets, labels, error states, and motion Prepare design files, component specifications, annotations, assets, and handoff notes Create realistic prototypes for review and usability testing Collaborate with UX research, interaction design, content, product, accessibility, and development volunteers Incorporate evidence and approved feedback while documenting key decisions Use licensed assets and avoid dark patterns, manipulative engagement, or unnecessary data collection Protect participant information used in research or examples Qualifications: Experience in UI, visual, product, web, or mobile design Strong Figma or comparable tools, responsive design, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff Familiarity with accessibility, usability, privacy, youth-centered design, and component-based development Portfolio or work samples are helpful At least 18 years old and willing to complete screening and confidentiality requirements This is a remote, project-based or recurring role.
