Role Description The Executive Chef Partner is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at The Capital Grille in Oklahoma City, OK. This role oversees all culinary operations, including menu execution, food preparation, quality and presentation, and adherence to brand standards. The Executive Chef Partner leads, trains, and mentors the kitchen team, ensuring consistent performance, safety, and sanitation while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. Responsibilities include inventory and cost control, vendor relationships, and maintaining high standards for food safety and regulatory compliance. The role also collaborates closely with restaurant leadership to support exceptional guest experiences and drive overall restaurant performance. Qualifications Strong culinary skills, including high-volume fine dining experience, expertise in meat and seafood preparation, and knowledge of contemporary and classic cooking techniques. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including staff training, mentoring, scheduling, and performance management in a busy kitchen environment. Operational and business skills, such as inventory management, cost control, menu planning, and familiarity with budgeting and food cost optimization. Commitment to food safety and sanitation, with working knowledge of health codes, HACCP principles, and safe kitchen practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with front-of-house leaders, vendors, and team members. Prior experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or equivalent in upscale or fine dining restaurants. Culinary degree, professional culinary certification, or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
