Pharmacist - Inpatient

Pharmacist – Inpatient

Night shifts, 4x10 hours or 3x10 hours (20:30 - 07:00), with a schedule of 7 on, 7 off.

Work in an inpatient setting with a daily census of approximately 80 patients, while providing care across different patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience required
• NM Pharmacy license (temporary licenses accepted, with an estimated processing time of 10 days)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, IV Certification required; PharmD and RPh preferred
• Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Epic
• Skills in intravenous preparation, compounding, and various medication dosing

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications, including intravenous solutions
• Monitor therapeutic drug levels and adjust dosing as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Provide medication education to healthcare staff and patients as needed
