Registered Nurse - Jim Thorpe Rehab - PRN - Days

The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care using the nursing process. The position may involve floating to other units, participating in on‑call status, and fulfilling population‑specific competencies. Responsibilities Assessment / re‑assessments Development of the plan of care Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions Evaluation of patient care interventions Supervises and coordinates other licensed and non‑licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned Provides guidance and mentorship to non‑licensed personnel and students, as appropriate The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Mental Health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint of patients using the identified Behavior Management Technique System. The position may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit‑test requirements. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks—including potential exposure to infections, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals, bodily injury related to lifting, and incidents of workplace violence—will require strict adherence to universal safety precautions. May float to other units and may be required to be on call status. Qualifications 2 years RN experience Current RN licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact member state BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
