Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contract Position in Lawrenceville, GA


A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings in Lawrenceville, GA. This role offers the chance to provide critical support to students with speech and language needs while working alongside a collaborative team of SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).


Location:

• Lawrenceville, GA (approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur)

Position Details:

• Full-time (40 hours/week) with part-time candidates also considered
• Contract role primarily within a school environment
• Services provided across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• SLP caseloads supported by additional SLPs and SLPAs
• No Medicaid billing required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students across multiple grade levels
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based SLP settings
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
