Paid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Course

Paid Training Program - Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA Candidates will be paid during the course! Classes Start TBD! Once certified, the rates are $20.00 - $22.75. Essex Center is currently offering fully sponsored Paid CNA Training for eligible candidates who will work at our Skilled Nursing Facility. Certified Nursing Assistant is a great career option if you love to help others! Location of Employment (after training): Essex Center, located in Elizabethtown, NY. CNA Duties Include: Observing Residents in assigned units Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc. Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy Transporting Residents within the Facility Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data Hiring Requirements: Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program Must be 18 years or older Must be in good standing with the State Registry Must have a diploma or GED Ability to work as a team member About Us: Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 100-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Elizabethtown, New York.
