AFC Urgent Care is the leading Urgent Care brand with over 300 locations nationwide offering high quality patient-centered healthcare to our communities. Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis seven days a week with lab and x-rays on-site. We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Team in San Diego, California.

What does AFC Urgent Care have to offer? Stable and well supported practice, uncapped earning potential with pre-approved overtime, predictable work schedule, environment conducive to increase your scope of practice, scheduling options include 8-10 shifts monthly: 8am 8pm. Typically 2 3 workdays per week, with 9 12-hour shifts and pre-approved overtime, competitive pay. Hourly rate: $74.00-$78.00. Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation, 401(k), and CME reimbursement.

What does AFC Urgent Care require? An unrestricted medical license in California, DEA Certificate, must be NCCPA Board Certified, at least two years of experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting, able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.), availability to work: day, evening, and weekend shifts.
