Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2-3 years of CVICU experience License: Active state RN license Certifications: Trauma Level One Experience required Must-Have: Epic experience required Previous travel experience required Competency in managing immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU Proficiency with ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive/inotropic drip titrations Description: Candidates must possess strong competencies in caring for high-acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. They should be efficient with ventilators, arterial lines, and spinal drains. Thorough ECG interpretation and monitoring skills are essential. Candidates will also need to manage temporary pacemakers and titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips effectively. The position calls for experience with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment are essential.
