Role overview Based in New York, the Creative Director of Brand Design leads the growth of the design practice and guides the creative vision to translate brand strategy into human-centered experiences across client engagements. This leadership role shapes how teams work together to deliver meaningful brand systems and activations. Responsibilities Shape the Future: guide the growth of the design practice and push the boundaries of modern design systems Lead the Work: manage medium-to-large engagements from foundational visual identities and motion systems to intricate digital and physical brand activations Translate Strategy: convert abstract strategic thinking into distinctive visual identities that connect emotionally Collaborate & Infuse: partner cross-functionally to weave design thinking into every project, co-creating with other departments and clients Champion Culture: participate in a culture of feedback and empower designers to take creative risks Mentor & Grow: coach junior and senior designers, supporting career development and leadership skills Partner with Clients: listen to client teams to clarify needs and demonstrate how design drives business value Requirements 8+ years of professional design experience in a creative team environment, with brand, digital, or integrated agency background Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with deep understanding of layout and typography and a vision for directing teams to translate visuals into motion and 3D using AI-enabled workflows A proven portfolio showing leadership of visual work for national and global brands A self-starter who can lead projects, manage timelines, and navigate ambiguity with composure Collaborative spirit and a belief that great work emerges from diverse perspectives A visionary outlook and enthusiasm for shaping the direction of a growing studio and the future of branding Technologies Adobe Creative Suite Figma Salary and location Location: New York, NY (onsite) Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 per year Final salary will be determined based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
