CNC Lathe Setup Machinist

What You'll Do

• Perform complete setups and operate CNC Hyper Quadrex turning centers
• Machine high-precision parts to tight tolerances
• Partner with the Lathe Manager and Engineering team to:
  • Troubleshoot and optimize programs
  • Improve machining processes
  • Resolve production and tooling issues
• Monitor tool wear and maintain consistent quality throughout runs
• Make program edits and adjustments using Fanuc controls (G & M code)
• Maintain accurate setup sheets and production documentation

What You Bring

• Strong experience in CNC lathe setup and operation
• Ability to troubleshoot issues directly at the machine
• Experience working in tight-tolerance, precision environments
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls
• Experience with Hyper Quadrex machines (highly preferred)
• Experience with Nakamura, Miyano, or similar equipment (a plus)
• Experience supporting industries like:
  • Aerospace
  • Medical
  • Defense/Military
  • Data storage (preferred but not required)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, MN.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
