Job Description
Title: Sterile Processing Tech

Schedule:
- Shift: Nights, Monday-Friday (5x8)
- Weekends: No weekend coverage required

Requirements:
- Required Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred; first-timers accepted

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform sterilization processes including steam sterilization and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS).
- Operate washers, sterilizers, and related equipment effectively.
- Assemble and process case carts, sets, and trays, adhering to proper wrapping materials and procedures.
- Utilize biological and chemical indicators for sterilization testing and monitoring.
- Conduct high-level disinfection (HLD) on reusable medical equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of processing areas.

Compliance / Notes:
- References: 2 references covering 1 year (within last 3 years) required during compliance process and prior to start.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 (included in submittal).
- Local traveler restriction: Permanent residence within 50 miles disqualifies from travel contract.
