AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN BAKER CHEVROLET OF ALLEGAN Seeking to hire 2 candidates for this position. SERVICE TECHNICIAN POSITION: Top Pay for qualified individuals. Closed on Saturday and Sunday to allow a work/life balance. Baker Chevrolet is the premier General Motors Service department in Allegan Our Leadership, Service Advisors and Parts Department are all aligned to help you be efficient and successful. - Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with the dealership.
- Test drive vehicles, and test components & systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors so that customers can be informed of any additional services needed.
- Providing an estimate of time needed for current repair or any additional repairs needed.
- Executing repairs under warranty as outlined in manufacturers' specifications and requirements
- ASE Certifications are ideal but not required
- Strong automotive background
- Strong Teamwork values
- Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check upon hiring
- Must have a valid driver's license
