Position Summary

The Service Technician II is an experienced HVAC professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing residential HVAC systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, professional communication skills, and the ability to educate homeowners on repair, maintenance, indoor air quality, and replacement options.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems

• Perform advanced electrical, refrigerant, airflow, combustion, and controls troubleshooting

• Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options

• Perform repair-versus-replacement evaluations

• Present memberships, indoor air quality products, and system enhancement opportunities

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every call

• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians

• Maintain complete and accurate service documentation

• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years residential HVAC service experience

• EPA Certification required

• S2, S1 or D2 Licenses

• NATE Certification preferred

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent customer communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Clean driving record

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performance team
