Yoga Instructor

Overview LIVunLtd is currently seeking experienced, energetic and exceptional Yoga Instructors to join our growing team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics. This will be an evening position. As a Group Fitness Instructor you are experienced, positive, and patient. Instructors are expected to educate, motivate, and make yoga a fun experience while they teach. Whether it be on a weekly or daily basis, instructors are expected to provide an encouraging voice and energetic personality when leading exercise activities. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Create an educational, safe, and inviting experience for all participants. Develop class plans that focus on relaxation, flexibility, and mindful breathing. Provide modifications and adjustments to meet the needs of individual participants. Cultivate a serene and stress-free atmosphere conducive to winding down. Ensure instructional equipment remains in good condition; have all equipment ready prior to classes and put away after. Guarantee safety at all times and provide first aid when necessary. Perform any and all cleaning duties as assigned to help establish and maintain showroom quality at all times. Enforce all company policies procedures in efforts to maintain a quiet, safe and secure environment for members. Adhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policies, procedures and initiatives. Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require attention to the Fitness + Wellness Director. Wear building-approved uniform for each specific location where you are working. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Yoga teaching certification (RYT 200 or equivalent required). Prior experience teaching yoga in a group setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adjust class intensity based on participant needs. Passion for promoting health, relaxation, and mindfulness. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized and customer service oriented.
